Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

The service

Ellie is a voice-first business management application. It provides timekeeping, bookkeeping, invoicing, quoting, job management, and an AI assistant. Ellie's AI responses are suggestions and drafts — you are responsible for reviewing financial records, invoices, and business decisions before acting on them.

Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using Ellie.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case by case — contact hello@runwithellie.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use Ellie for unlawful purposes. Voice usage is subject to fair-use limits described on the pricing page.

Your data

You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us the license needed to operate the service (storing, processing, and displaying your data back to you).

Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update features with notice where reasonable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ellie is provided "as is" without warranties. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
